Meatloaf

This post is for Megan. She has been "struggling" with her meatloaf to say the least. She has tried many different recipes, even one in the crock pot? Well I have the perfect recipe for her. I have been making this meatloaf for years now and LOVE IT. It is so good and easy to make. Here we go.....

Grab this stuff
1 lb. lean hamburger
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. quick cook oats
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. ketchup
1/2 c. brown sugar

In a bowl, mix egg and milk. Add cheese, oats, onion and salt. Mix. Then add hamburger, mixing well. Divide into little loaves and place in 9x13 inch greased baking dish. In a separate bowl mix ketchup and sugar. Spoon mixture over each loaf. Like this.....
Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes!
And enjoy!!!
Tips: If you use more than a pound of hamburger then it ends up being dry so try and stick with a pound. I have made it without onions and it is still good. Don't over cook it dries it out.
The very best part about the little loaves is you pop one in the microwave for a minute the next day and place between two slices of toast and cheese. WOW what a sandwich. Almost like a gourmet hamburger.
